I know this is taking a risk with my corals but I plan on keeping him well fed. Anyone else have success with keeping one in a reef tank? Any tips? Tank is a lightly stocked 265 gallon mixed reef.

I tried, but mine loved LPS and zoas. They are one of the most beautiful fish you can get though. I rehome him to a friends 500g fowlr, where he's a true beauty. I'd like to try again someday but don't know if I will. Good luck. You may have better success with a juvenile. Mine was an adult when I got it.

I have seen lg angels do fine with sps. LPS on the other hand is most definitely on the menu.

Someone recommended buying a cheap sponge and throw it in for them to munch on. Do they attack all LPS? I'm womderi g more about bubble corals and hammers?

E Hammers are usually safe due to their potent stings.

Update. Had him for 4 months now. Picture on the left is from October. Right is from a couple weeks ago. He's about 3" now.
