Hey guys, jumped into the saltwater scene with my first tank. It’s the Fluval Evo 13.5 AIO. Took me a while to work the aquascape best I could. Started the cycling process today with Fritz zyme 9 and dosed ammonium chloride. Looking at atleast 4 weeks to let it cycle well before adding any livestock.
Lights on only for the photo-op. Went with Carib sea life rock 10LB and Arag-alive special grade. Was shooting for an inch of sand but ended up more like 1.5”. Effective water volume turned out to be 10gallons. Running complete stock at the moment. Will add wavemakers/power head eventually once there’s livestock and eventually some corals.
