Now that my tank is cycling with 10lbs of live rock 30lbs of base rock and 70lbs of live sand. My question is that if the rock finally turns brown is that the beginning of the end of a cycle?

You should test every day to monitor the cycle so you know for sure how what phase it in and how much it had cycled and if it was a successful cycle. The color of the rocks dont mean it is or had cycled.

If you bought 70lbs of live sand it should help speed up the cycle. But check your levels often, good luck!

Nice, can't wait to see what fish you pick, Harlequin Tusk would be at the top of my list in a fowlr tank.

The new lighting came in huge difference from the old t5 I went led this time. 174 led bulbs with 12 acticnic no clue what the spectrum is. Or how to measure this. I know it's equal to the t5 lighting according to the manufacture
