Welcome to Reef2Reef!!!!

I'm going with a 48"x24"x24" 120 gallon from glass cages. Hopefully my tank and stand will arrive in May. I've been gathering other materials in the meantime.

The forum regulars encouraged me to do a build thread as I go. So far, it has to be the most boring build thread ever  Noob 120 gal build thread

Things have certainly changed a lot in the 20 years I was (we were) out of the hobby. Generally things seem a bit easier now, but it is a little harder to glean the good info from the bad than it was back in the day.
Awesome, I've decided to start with the biocube 32 for now until I move, but will give me a chance to get everything going

Awesome, I just went with the biocube 32 for now until I move into a bigger place. Would love to get a multi setup going again. I'll be sure to check yours out.

Starting out with a biocube 32 at the moment, should be moving in about a year then I can see what I can get into. At least I'll have some established live rock.
I have a Biocube 32 and love it, good luck!

Hey from pasadena. I’ve traded with 2 guys local so far. I’ve usually got some frags to trade or sell cheap. Met a nice guy in port deposit with lots of leathers and chalice. Reefnerd is down the street and is a great local source with reasonable prices. It would be nice to have a network of reefers local to trade with. Good luck!

Thanks for the info, I'm only 5 min from Jason Fox, been talking with them.

For what they are, they seem pretty nice. Tank, sand, and rock is coming in tomorrow, ill post a build thread. Also have you had any issues with your lights?
No problem with my lights, click on my build thread. I did add 2 21 usa leds but not for more par just more blue. You can see the growth of softies, lps and begginer sps with the standard lights. Feel free to ask me any questions.

Absolutely don’t need, I just didn’t like how my corals looked washed out under white lights.
