The 120watt value fixtures sold so well during the sale, we figured we would lower the price $20 to $179 shipped! right now we have a few left and ready to ship, and a ton coming in about a week with our latest layout, which includes 4 3500k Warm Whites in addition to the previos colors. You can buy them Here

What kind of optics do these fixtures come with, do you have par numbers for these lights, and how do you think these lights will work on a 27" tall tank?

How many fixture would i need on a 40g breader with sps? Also what optics and how high off the tank to get full coverage?

I have par numbers form the older series, I will measure these today. They were higher than the units from before, I will get exact numbers.

I would use the 24" controllable fixture, it is long enough to cover the whole tank, and for only $150 extra, you get the controller. You could also do 2 of the value fixtures, and that would be the equivalent of 2 250watt mh bulbs, and take care of whatever light demanding sps you put under it.

I'm leaning towards a couple of these lights though I've got a couple of questions. What optics do these lights come with, what are the LEDs rated at and what are they run at when the fixture is turned up to 100%? My tank is 27" tall and I anticipate running these at full power I just want to make sure I won't burn them out quicker by running them at 100%.
