So my wife bought me a microscope for xmas, and I've been looking at somethings from the tank. Some have been just plain water samples, some detritus samples and another and sample. I know its probably a shot in the dark, but I was wondering if anyone could shoot ideas on out ID's on these pictures I took. Any information is awesome, I tried to search on google & here only found a couple ideas, but not 100% sure on them.

Last picture = diatom, Nitzschia
The clear ovals look like some sort of ciliate
The dark circles or spheres I have seen before but don’t know what they are.

Should I be concerned with anything in these pictures?

Nope. You this stuff and way more stuff is in all saltwater aquaria.

For fun, place a microscope slide in the aquarium for 1-2 weeks. If you can, lay it at an angle to minimize accumulation of solids. Then take it out, wipe the backside of the slide that will sit on the microscope stage and have a look. This will give you a rough idea of whats growing in the aquarium at this time. The next time you do this, the slide will likely look different.

Probably too small for a snail. There are many micro sea creatures that have carbonate, silica, and maybe cellulose coverings. Foraminifera has a shell.

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
