New Mushroom with Brown Spots

Hi, I receieved a small mushroom that I put into a QT tank. I noticed it has brown sections to its flesh. See picture. Any idea what this is? If so, do I need to do anything to fix it or will it run its course?

Maybe an obvious answer but have you tried to blow it off gently with a turkey baster to see if it’s algae?

did you dip it? Do you think they may be flat worms? Personally I’ve never seen them on Ricordia Florida, but you never know.

Yes i dipped and nothing came off except a few pods.

Yes i dipped and swished it around in a bucket of saltwater too.

It’s hard to tell from the picture, if it’s not debris on the coral I would dip again in lugols and hopefully that gets rid of whatever it is.
