New reefer, first time aquascape

Hi all,

Just after some open and honest feedback on aquascaping a 4 foot Cade 1200.
This is our first time aquascaping so open to any changes you would make.
We are aiming for a mixed reef tank with some negative space.
So far what you can see in the pics is 20lb Caribsea shapes and 40lb of Caribsea regular rock.

I'm partial to the two island look. Do keep in mind the scale of the tank though. Maybe go a little taller if possible?

I vote for #2
i like that it’s complicated with lots of hides holes ;) while still having lots of room for corals.

#2. lots of swim throughs and also lots of spots for fish to hide when stressed, sleeping etc. Nice job

#2. Looks great. I don’t see any reference lines for the tank so make sure you leave space for cleaning glass.

That's the way I did my 4 ft IM Two boxes of shapes for islands on each end and some aqua rocks branches for the negative space on the back wall to keep frags. Took me 20 minutes. I don't like to glue rock together because you will want move things especially when you start adding corals.
