Wife is a teacher and distance learning has taken a toll on our home network. I bought this Surfboard Max plus, as the old router finally died. It doesn't have the web interface as the old one did. Just an app for my phone. I'm trying to NOT reset the apex, but since I don't have a display and apex.local isn't working nor can I see it anywhere, even though it is plugged in the same it was before, I'm thinking I may have to. Anyone have any thoughts?

@Woodyth I feel your pain, last week I spent 5-6hrs frustrating hours trying to get my setup router (lost power for a few hours) to reconnect and I have the display. In your case without the display you can’t check any of the Net Settings or try and renew the apex on the router. What most likely happened is that another device took the dedicate IP address of the apex. If you login to your router see if there is a device that has the IP: 192.168.1.50 You can also try seeing if you can get to that address from your browser.
Unfortunately if that doesn’t work then I believe this is a full reset in your Apex to reconnect.
I included some pics from my apex display I believe they all come setup this way. PM if you need more information I’m happy to help!

You can also use the software angry ip scanner to scan your network to see what all is connected to what IP on your network. It will help to determine if the apex is on your network scheme or not

Which model of Apex? If it's the newer Apex 2016 or Apex-EL that have built-in WiFi, you can just go through the quick WiFi Setup Mode to access it directly from your phone to troubleshoot and/or reset network settings without losing any of your programming.

It’s very easy with the 2016 newer apex... hold reset for 10 seconds, and follow WiFi setup like when you did initial setup.
