New start, after devastating ending.

So on the 21July2017 i nearly through the towel in and packed up the hobby after my beloved sps tank cracked and despite all my efforts i lost everything. Sps, and fish. Well thanks to a few fellow reefers , they convinced me to give it another go. I then purchased the Reefer XL425 and i must admit I am very impressed with the tank and it has reignited the passion within me for this hobby. Below is some pics of my old baby before she died

Now my new journey begins. The Reefer XL425. Its been 4 days since filling with NSW and its going great. Im running 2x Radion pro XR30 gen4's , 2x jeboa RW15's , Deltec SC1455 Skimmer and jeboa DC5000 return pump.

What program are you using to track parameters? How are you Cycling? I'm using all dry rock and having trouble dosing ammonia and bringing levels up ?

just my 2c here. I would like the look better if it wasn't quite so balanced. the towers are fairly evenly space and about the same height and size. I also always avoid 2 of anything in something I am trying to make look natural. again if you like it, it is perfect but just wanted to give you my opinion.

Ok so its been a month since my last update. Tank going very very well right now. I have decided since i had such astronomical results on my last tank with ridiculous amount of growth and coloration with my sps, i will now be running this tank also 100% PCS and 2 part dosing for mag, alk and cal.

when i started the program i cut 2 frags and measured them week by week because they claim you would see results within your first 7 days. And low and behold i was averaging 2mm per week on the 2 test frags. This was after a month of using the products. Solution 1 , 2 and 3 are trace elements and solution 5 is liquid phosphate remover. I dose 1ml per day each of solution 1, 2 and 3 and for solution 5 i dosed 5ml per day.

Pretty good growth in a month. What PO4 do you run dosing that remover?

between 0.03 and 0.05ppm , for nitrates i run vinegar/glucose mix and i keep it at 2ppm
