Looking to add some more fish to my Red Sea Reefer 250 G2+ System. Current stock below.. I am leaning towards one of more of the following:

Diamond Goby, Lawnmower Blennie, Banggai Cardinal or Royal Gramma

I would love a puffer but I keep reading not reef safe and my tank may be too small.

Current Live Stock:

Fish:
2 - Orange Storm Clown Fish
1 - Blue Hippo Tang

Inverts:
2 - Emerald Crab
2 - Peppermint Shrimp
1 - Fire Shrimp
1 - Halloween Hermit Crab
1 - Blue Legged Crab
1 - Strawberry Conch
1 - Horseshoe Crab
1 - Bumble Bee Snail (Hitchhiker)

Coral:
1 - Clove Polyp (Softie)
1 - Neon Green Star Polyp (Softie)
1 - Bicolor Hammer (LPS)
1 - Red Lobo Brain Coral (LPS)
1 - Meteor Shower Cyphastrea (LPS)
1 - Nirvana Zoa

Hippo tang will def outgrow your tank soon, you could try a small boxfish if you have a place to rehome... although they are not reef safe either

I would do a nice group of bangaii, but from your list you could easilyget away with adding all of those fish.

Thanks.. yeah the hippo has already doubled in size in a month! Yikes. LFS said I should be fine for a year or two before I need to rehome. We will see. I am not convinced it won't be sooner LOL

I say you could add all them. With the cardinals make sure if you get more than one (ideally only two) they are male and female otherwise two will pair up and kill the others off! I also would not add a boxfish, they have specialized needs. Cute for sure but research the hell outta them. Also toxic too.

DO YOU THINK TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENTS ARE MORE HELPFUL OR HURTFUL TO REEFING?
