New tank build. 35G reef

Time too start my first thread here on R2R and I live in Sweden so be patient with my English

I will move soon to a smaller house on a farm so I must build a smaller tank because my 130g reef tank is to big. So I going too try to make i buildthread here and hope you guys want too follow the project.

So the new tank is 35g that I bought used a couple of weeks ago.
I´m building my stand based of IKEA kitchen frames ( is that the correct name?) and I´m going too use a old sump that I had in my tank before and make some changes in it.

I have made a 3d model how I thought I would build and I have already started whit the project so here comes some pictures on the build so far.

The build is going slow but steadily forward. I have cut the countertop too the correct size and rounded the corners. The I applied some hardvaxoil (don't know what it´s called in english) too protect the wood from water. Then I have fitted a fan in the cabinet and I 3d-printed a template and drilled the bottom glass for the new overflow box

Looks great so far, the cabinet is very nice.

Is that your current tank in the background? the peninsular tank? If so, that is amazing!! I am sure you'll do a great build with the new tank. Also your English is great don't worry

Thanks! yes is the current tank in the background. I hope I can get it sold before we move, just 1 month left and I start too have some panic haha

Some progress on my build. I have designed and printed the internal box for the overflow, drilled the tank, both the inside and outside boxes are in place, printed some covers for the top of the boxes, painted the tank black and I have placed a order on all the pvc pipes/fittings.
