Hi everyone. Just ordered a waterbox infinia 230. Moving from a 75 gallon and I wanted to create a mixed reef with lots of tangs and schooling fish.

Currently I have….

- 3 pajama cardinals
- 2 clownfish
- cleaner wrasse
- purple tang
- white tail bristle tooth

Want to add…

- blonde naso
- chocolate mimic tang
- yellow tang (or a school of 3 yellow)
- swallow tail angel
- borbonious anthias
- blue spotted jawfish
- 5-7 chromis
- 2 wrasses

Question is, how many tangs is too many and can I have a purple and yellow together if I added them all together at the same time And how would three yellows exist with the purple?

Good luck finding fish that will school in an aquarium. And I think you are at the upper edge of how many big fish you should have in a 167 gallon aquarium.
