This build thread is for a 90 gallon bow front display tank with a 55 gallon sump. The display tank is being purchased used with stand and cover, live rock (100 lb), live sand (3-4 inches) and what ever is in the sand and on the rock. (I do not have the tank - so no pictures)

I currently have a 20 gallon extra tall reef display tank with a 10 gallon sump.
I currently have a neon dottyback; beautiful active hunter. My smaller hermit crabs have disappeared and a cleaner shrimp(I know the dottyback killed the shrimp). The clown, six-line wrasse, and blue tang are working out.

Is this fish too aggressive to transfer to the new tank?

They should get along, but you never know for sure with saltwater fish and their caveman like behavior.

Always a risk with live rock. You never know for sure what it was exposed to and what may hitchhike along. Some reefer like the unknown aspect of new and different critters they find in/on the live rock. If you are ok with that, then it's great as the cycle is usually very fast.

Another question, aqua-cultured live rock shipped from Florida company next day air, good idea or just hype?

IMO the benefits of real ocean aquacultured rock far outweigh the risk of any pest you may potentially get from it. I would recommend checking out KP aquatics, I’m using it in my new build and really like it.
