New Tank prospect

Heyo! A few months ago, I began this wonderful hobby, and while it has been great so far with my 15-gallon nano(was given to me for free, so why not?), I have realized quickly that 15 is too small for what I want to do. I do prefer nanos, but I would very much like more water volume. So I already bought my second tank, a 38-gallon nano peninsula. And before it even arrives, I want to consider which corals/fish/inverts I could include in this larger water volume that I would otherwise not have in my 15.

It will be a lot easier to take care of corals so you could get some more difficult corals like lps.

You so many options for fish and inverts now that I can’t list them, so I would just pick a few and find out if they can work in your tank.

Pair of clowns always a safe bet.... So many speciality varieties these days. I just got a pair of "long fin" ocelaris and they are really cool.

I work at a clownfish nursery, so I had my pick of the lot when I was selecting. I went with a pair of simple Darwin's ocellaris. I paired them myself and have known them since they were fry. The female also has a really pretty neon blue highlight. They have never bitten me once, and I am hopeful that they are more friendly than many other fish I work with. I'm very attached to them and need them to have more room already, so of course they're moving in first. After that, looking at Tanaka wrasse, YWG, and Mandarin. Any fish after that is just a luxury; Cardinalfish or 2, and perhaps something else to fill the water column.

The wrasse and mandarin are both going to be competing for copepods so make sure you have a constant supply or get a mandarin that eats pellets.

Thats the goal for the Mandarin. I didn't consider the competition between the wrasse and the mandarin. Any suggestions for an alternative, perhaps more utilitarian fish or grazers that would be happy in this sized tank?

a blenny would be a good alternative.

Heyo! I'm not too big a fan of blennies, unfortunately, though Ive always loved the lawnmower blennies; however, I'm not sure if my tank would be the right size to accommodate one. That would be the only herbivorous fish I can think of that may be content living in a 38-gallon. However, the recommended volume seems more, well, recommended
