Hi guys so I’m setting up my new Hello Reef 15 this week. Once it cycles, Im planning to get a clownfish pair from ORA and a third fish like a Goby or Blenny or anything else you guys might suggest. My question is what the order should be to get these fish. ORA ships them as juveniles so they should be less aggressive right? Do I let the 2 clowns fight over dominance first? Do I add them all together? Third fish first? And also what third fish have you guys kept successfully with clowns in a small tank? Thanks so much!

I would typically add the least agggresive fish first (in this case a the blenny or goby)
as far as the clownfish they will most likely be similair in size and will eventually fight to establish dominance leading to the bigger becoming female, you should let it happen unless there is serious injuries being inflicted

Gotcha any idea on the timeline? Like add the Goby and wait how many weeks? Maybe I’m overthinking it lol. I just want to make sure I do right by the fish.

after the tank is cycled you can add the goby and maybe wait just a week, it should be ample time for the goby to find a nice spot and calm down/settle in

Thank you for the advice!

If you're going to get fish from those three. The blenny or the goby should be first. You can wait a week or two before adding anything else.

What kind of blenny and goby are you looking at getting?
