Welcome to the hobby! Welcome to R2R! Some advice for a newbie. Test your water weekly. If anything it gets you use to how to use the test kits. And document your levels. You don’t need any fancy kits at first just buy some API liquid kits. After a couple of months you’ll see trends. All for the best advice here always include a pic and test results in the post.

We live in the Information Age.
Whatever you need to know, it is all online.

There was an information drought when I set up my first tank in 2002.

Good luck with your new hobby.
