I recently upgraded to a 210g tank. I now have the room for more equipment so I bought a BRS carbon reactor. I used to place a mesh bag of carbon in my sump's bubble barrier, but now it's time to get more modern.

So, how much stuff does carbon remove? Will it absorb everything I dose? All medications? Anything beneficial? Trace elements, etc?

Any information is helpful.

Carbon removes medications, trace elements etc...but in general the pros outweigh the cons, especially if your tank is well stocked.
