I'm new to R2R, but not keeping saltwater tanks. I've been keeping saltwater for over 8 years now and I'm currently upgrading my 55 FOWLR to a reef. I spend a lot of my free time doing research on different types of corals and invertebrates to get a better understanding of keeping them. I currently have 7 saltwater tanks 3 are seahorse tanks, 1 mantis tank. I look forward being a member of R2R.

Wow, 7 tanks! We'd love to see some pictures. What kind of seahorses do you keep? Welcome to R2R!

Thanks. I currently keep Hippocampus erectus and Hippocampus zosterae. The 3rd tank was set up about 2 months ago because I finally got a chance to actually raise the erectus fry. It currently has about 12 1 month old babies. A lot of work raising them but very rewarding.

Welcome to the party. I love that mantis in your avatar. If the one I had in my tank a few years ago looked like that, I might not have removed him.

Welcome! Sounds like you have a lot experience in the hobby. I hope you get a chance to post some pics in the near future - I would love to see them.
