Hey R2R,
My name is Brandon and I reside in Richmond Hill, GA. I’m 31 married with 5 kids. I’m active duty Army currently stationed at Fort Stewart, GA.
I’ve been in the hobby for 6 Years now. My first s/w tank was a 140g Fowlr that I had purchased while stationed in Fort Hood, Texas. I moved to Fort Benning, GA (moved tank/livestock with me) and later converted the 140 to a mixed reef. I also setup my oldest son a IM Nuvo 20. After having it fully stocked for a couple years I broke them down and sold it all and moved to Richmond Hill, GA in June 2017. Couldn’t stay away from the hobby too long so I set up a simple 55g mixed Reef. While out of town in December 2017 on vacation an unusual snow storm caused some issues with my house and a ripple effect on the tank caused it to crash. Coming back home to a complete lost of my fully stocked mixed reef was a heartbreaker and almost had me give up on the hobby. I cleaned the tank out and had to cycle it again and just kept a handful of fish. In July I moved to a bigger house and sold my 55g..... Only to purchase the 125g I now have! So here it begins again. I started the tank in August 2018 and will continue on this adventure. Love the hobby and still try to make room for it in my busy busy life.
