Hi All I bought an used tank setup with sump and was wanting to get into saltwater.

I've kept freshwater fishes for years, though I'm not familiar with all the steps involved in setting up the saltwater tank. Including plumbing, skimmer etc.

I would like to have a mixed reef with beginner corals and a few quirky sand sifters, invertebrates and colorful fish.

The tank is a 6x2x2 (180cm x 60cm x 60cm). Approx 180 gallon with 3 bulkheads at the top back.
The sump is a 4x1.5x1.5 (120cm x 45 x45).

I will need to fix the plumbing, repaint the stand etc. Some of the PVC connection was cut, so i will need to get some new pipes/fittings, though I'm not sure which config should I have for those 3 bulkheads.

I will eventually setup the tank on my hall/lobby and plan to have a water connection access nearby and a drain.

If anyone has any suggestions for me to have a successful start? (E.g. sump config, sea water refill, media, wave makers, skimmer, initial livestock etc).

Regards,
Rapha
