Hey guys, I am currently cycling my first saltwater tank and decided I don’t like the way my live rock is scaped. Any suggestions on how I should change it?

I just worry that there aren’t any good spots for shy fish to hide.

Welcome to R2R, looking good already ;)!

This video might give you some more ideas:

Personally, I like the two island design with one side much higher than the other; some reefers use corals to provide the height and minimize the amount of rock needed.

Good luck

Once you start getting coral in there you will have enough for them to hide !. It’s hard to imagine what it will look like at the mo, but you’ve got some nice places for coral too sit .!!

Welcome to R2R.

I am with @Jason mack I like it. Once you get a couple of corals growing on the scape there will be plenty of places to hide.:)

If you put that top rock vertical in that little nook on the left that might make for two nice structures.

Welcome to R2R!

This looks beautiful. If you’re worried about additional hiding spots add another few pieces and make an over hang or a cove. I’ll attach a pic of what I redid to mine. But this looked beautiful

Welcome to R2R! Can't see it from my house! ;-) But if I could, I would be happy with that scape! It has good space around it and through it for flow and it will change in time with corals. If down the road you feel the need to move it around, you should be able to without any issues.

Thanks for joining and sharing your new setup!
