10 years. That’s how long it has taken us to get this far. Purchased new tank and stand which was running. So it came with everything, but, yep there’s always a but. It was badly neglected. Full of bristle worms, other worms we couldn’t identify. So bleached rocks for 1 week, rinsed sunbathed for a month. Ok that’s done. On to the tank 210 gallon, go big or go home right? Cleaned with vinegar, resealed, painted back black check. Buy quarantine tank and supplies check. New wave makers etc etc. Stand, fell apart when we took it outside to sand it. what the heck. Ok we can build a new one. Yep, this is what happened. Lesson learned measure your sump first to see how tall and wide stand needs to be. Now we have a sturdy 2x6 workbench for the garage and we need to build another stand. Ugh. Does it ever end, and we don’t even have the tank set up yet?
