Thank you for the warm welcome!
I took some pics I will post here of the tank in its current setting - I find myself constantly thinking about how the rockwork feels for me and the inhabitants - subject to change haha

Welcome to the forums!Hello Fellow Reefers,
Name is Zach, new to the hobby as of the last few months .
Started with 75lbs of live rock and 50lbs of live sand - have since added a bunch of dry rock to help fill out the reef scape.
Using a eheim 4+ 600 - two AI hydra 44's - two ecotech mp40, one ai orbit 4, all in an aquarion tank for equipment.
Fish List so far : 2 clowns, 1 flame hawkfish, 1 purple firefish, 2 bangai cardinals ( was 3 but 1 was attacked by others and returned to lfs ) , 4 hermits, about 10 trochus snails.
Ive got a red headed fairy wrasse that I will be picking up next week - then I feel like I'll almost be at capacity for the tank - Im thinking potentially something more sand dwelling or maybe an additional wrasse - I love to see them swim through the tank.
Against a lot of advice, I also do have a few corals and a single BTA. One GSP - One firework clove polyps - one fruit loop zoa. Im planning on holding off on any additional and using these 3 as my learning corals.
The BTA has been quite interesting - the first day it kept floating around - crazy how light they are - and then the BTA got sucked into the foam powerhead covers twice with only the foot visible with all tentacles sucked into the foam - the BTA was not hurt and has now chosen the most interesting place - inside of a cave within the reef rock.
My son is on the spectrum, so we spend a lot of time at home just viewing the tank together and traveling to the LFS on mini adventures looking for our next fish or simply appreciating all the potential saltwater has.
Goal in the next few years is to upgrade to a large Display tank - I'd love to have some tangs in the future!
Anyways Happy to be here amongst all the reef heads - appreciate all of the knowledge shared by everyone here and cant wait to contribute.
