Thanks for the insight. I had put a powerhead in my tank but the current was too strong so I turned it off, and lo and behold the clowns hosted to it I recently took it out so hopefully the clowns will host something else- preferably the anemone! From your other post it seems like they are young still, but if they are older and tank bread it can be hard.
I gave up after 3 weeks. I kept them in a little breeder box together for a week, put them in a tube that led down to the anemone, and fed them around it... they would touch it, but as soon as they could they would leave and just host the power head haha.
I gave up and just put some pretty corals in the tank instead!
Thank you! Will definitely look into it!!Welcome!
If you want to know about clownfish, Martin Moe was the first to breed them. He also wrote a couple of great aquarium guidebooks! It’s a little dated, but invest in this book. Some of the best money I ever spent!
Good luck with your new hobby, it’s addictive!
