I've been in the hobby for around 6 years, and I figured long past due for me to become part of other reef forums other than our local reef club. My name is Tom Heidemann, and I have been the President of Wisconsin Reef Society for the last 3 years. I have 4 tanks in my system, 120g DT, 29g biocube, 14g biocube and 75g frag tank. All are running DIY LED fixtures except the DT which has 2x250w MH and 4 t5's. If anyone is interested I'd be glad to re-post my DIY LED retrofit threads. About 1 year ago I took the leap into reef automation with a Neptune APEX controller. All 4 tanks and my water mixing station are 95% automated.

I look forward to becoming a part of this forum.

Happy Reefing!
