I stumbled across this site while doing a Google search on Helios MH bulbs and really liked it.

I've been in the hobby about 9 years and in the last year downgraded from a large hi-tech system to 2 low tech nanos and I'm really enjoying the hobby again.

I have a Current USA Solana cube with the "disco ball" light (love it or hate it--I love it)

I also have a Zero Edge small hex with a 250w Giesemann Nova II over it. I don't think I really need that much light, but I bought it as a complete set-up from another hobbyist.

I'm not running a skimmer on this one and my total weekly maint time for the 2 tanks is about 30 minutes--that includes a 5 gallon water change in each. I only dose kalk--no other additives, although I've been reading the thread on here about Vitamin C and am thinking about trying that.

Welcome!! that is a sweet tank! I've always had a thing for zero edge tanks. have any top down shots?
