I understand and agree with you that this cost more than the OEM and also kind of overkill for a strainer. Here is how I justified making 3 for $200.$40 is alot for a strainer. The OEM part is only $11 and it comes with barbs. I simply cut mine down to size with pliers. I do understand your part is CNC and is of higher grade but is it really needed for the return pump?
