New Years Resolutions?

I normally don't do resolutions. I just live life.

But, given the events of this year, I am going to make a few:

1... Lose 30 more pounds before the wedding
2... Finish the 93 cube/15 cube combined setup
3... Don't have another stroke! (Gotta watch Daniel graduate from HS and Basic!)

I'll be starting a new life, pretty well from scratch. Don't know what the future holds, but the basics can only get better. I just have to commit to taking the initiative.

I'm in the home stretch of my life expectancy, so I'm planning on spending a lot of time putting together a believable story to tell our maker when I meet him. He's gonna want an explanation for all I've done, right?

Whenever I set a date to start a goal such as going to the gym, or stop drinking soda it makes it 10x harder for me. One day I just decided to start going to the gym (7months ago) and have gone 4-5 days ever since, and I even am doing a fitness program called athleanx (which is kicking my butt currently). Also the same happened for soda, one day I just stopped and haven’t ever really had one since. Weird haha.

As some know I have a crazy work schedule and my life barely includes time for me to brush my hair. But I had this dream of graduating college super early and I have. Yet my first year of residency as me almost to 100 hours a week.

As I rapidly approach the middle age of 26 I have some odd resolutions lol.

1.) to find myself and maybe start to have a life
2.) maybe this is same as the first but to find what I want or need. Yes graduating early and only focusing on school and career has made just normal social life kinda non existent. I don’t have time to be social (being extremely shy in person doesn’t help).
3.) work on not being so extremely shy

I like my bad habits, so I'm gonna keep those. My life may be changing drastically this year as well. I'm going to keep mine simple...laugh more.

I really do

Live, love and laugh

Don't work so much that you lose sight of the reason for the work.

I quit soda because I had kidney stones I quit smoking because of the stroke. Don't wait until a trauma to make a change. Be proactive!

Finally, reach out. I was touched by the suicide attempts of two and the success of another. If you hurt let someone hurt with you. Never ever assume no one understands. Even if they really don't, they can hold your hand so you don't slip away.

I've been a Christian since I was young, but became born again when I let go of trying to control everything and trusted God's direction.

That moment was like letting go of the oars:



No resolution for me. Just follow what he wants me to do.
