Yes, he's eating flakes, pellets, and Nori, he doesn't seem too stressed out either.
Do you run carbon? If so, what kind? Do you have a grounding probe in your tank to absorb stray voltage?

Using a HOB at the moment (its only a 55G) that has activated 'premium' MarineLand Carbon in the cartridges. No to the stray voltage, where is the best place to purchase one?

My yellow tang had HLLE. Feeding lots of good nori and frozen foods (mysis and spirulina loaded brine shrimp) soaked with selcon really turned it around for him. Nutrition and water quality are big contributors to this condition IME, especially once you are using good carbon and ruled out or dealt with any voltage issues.

Sorry for the wait, I just tested the voltage and got around 44.3V with my heater in and about 3 with it out... I don't know whats acceptable yet. What's normal?
44.3V when the heater is plugged in, but only 3V when it is unplugged? Sounds like you need a new heater.

Not too sure about that....if your tank is ungrounded you can read pretty much any voltage between the tank water and the outlet ground...its not an issue unless there is also a current.
An easier way to assess if stray voltage is a problem in your to use something like this:

Simply place it against the glass of the tank and if you get any chirping or flashing - you've got a problem - practice on a wall outlet until you learn how to use it. Its very simple.
Never add a ground probe until you are certain that you do not have a voltage leak and only run a ground probe in conjunction with a GFCI breaker - other wise you'll definitely fry your livestock.
Also - when your testing its important to make sure you test with everything on and running. Sometimes voltage leaks are not present until a device or pump actually kicks on - especially chillers...
