Sorry for the seemingly dumb question, i have noted some coral species will abide other same species in proximity without going to war.
So owing to being reduced to having to buy frags my my local lfs from mother colonies, i was just thinking if anyone can say yay or nay to purchasing several frags from the same mother colony to fill out an area which will eventually grow in together and whether frags originating from the same mother colony will go to war with each other.
Examples of different frags below. Favites and Chalice.
So obviously a mother colony its not going to go to war with itself, but will it if separated into frags??
