I’ve had my nano setup for 2 years, it’s been successful for the majority mainly due to dumb luck. I just recently started checking parameters outside of the api master saltwater kit because nothing is really growing outside of hair algae and cyano.
pH-7.8
NH3/NH4+-0
NO2-0
NO3-0
Ca-500?
KH/Alk-10.9
Mg-1440

2 clowns/1 chromis
A few hermits
A few nassy snails
Different types of LPS/SPS
Feed once per day
28g nano
4g water change bi weekly.

fish seem fine
LPS Coral not growing really at all
Algae, mushrooms, SPS growing but not fast.

what should I do to have ideal perimeters?

Just keep up your water changes and look at lighting, flow, and NO3/PO4 (nutrients) levels. pH can also improve growth.

I've been struggling with growth and didn't realize that my tank was running a little too ULN. I greatly increased feedings and played with my flow and suddenly everything is growing.

Sweet. I’ll try feeding more.

Get rid of the algae. Dose some Vibrant or hydrogen peroxide. The algae is using all of the nutrients instead of the coral

Is that safe for fish and will it get rid of hair and cyano?
