So I have been buying water from my local store and we bought a used Aqua fx 6 stage setup. We’ve changed all the filters it’s running just shy of 80psi and 0 tsd. Do I need to test the water for anything before using it. I don’t know why but the thought of using it scares me lol

have at it my friend, start making some water.
What’s in your stages? As long as you have Di resin at the end stage, you’re good.

For fun you can test the TDS (total dissolved solids), a tds meter is about $15 on amazan

Here’s how it is set up from right to left
Sediment filter
Carbon filter
And 3 di resin filters
And of course top has the filter

I might be misunderstanding can you verify that it looks like you have a resin prior to the membrane

It’s basically reverse because the previous owners had it set up differently. Water enters right at #1#1andut by #5#5he middle used to have a booster pump I believe
1. Sediment
2. Carbon
3 Di resin
4 Di resin
5 Di resin
