Hi! My name is Octavia, I am from Surprise, Arizona! My Husband & I started in Saltwater about 6 months ago! When we started, we started out big! Lol A lot of people were saying if we wanted to start in Saltwater that going small would be better for us. I wasn't having that! I got into Saltwater for the simple fact that I was going to have a Powder Blue Tang & she couldn't be in anything less than a 125. Our tank was purchased just for her but now we are getting more fish & a lot more corals! :D We've made a lot of Friends along the way & so far we love it! My two Sons (Bentley; 2 years old & Brodie; 9 months old) love to watch the fish! My oldest Son loves his "Nemo's"! Anyhow, I hope to meet some new people on here & get some advice on things! I look forward to talking to some of you! Here are some pictures I took last night & tonight.. Also I have some information on my Tank & Livestock..

Overflow box plumbed w/silent drains, bulkheads and nylon barb connectors. Lid cut outs included (2). Welcome to R2R and AZ FRAG!

I'd say you are off to a really good start there. If you get a chance February 16th in Scottsdale we will get together and have a PROP auction. It's a great time to meet the other reefers in the Valley and get some nice frags for real cheap. I will post more details next week.

Thanks everyone!
Absolutely, we will be there next month! One of our Friends/Neighbor Andrew goes to them all the time. We were just talking about it last weekend & decided we will be going with him this next time! I'm looking forward to it! :)

Actually I saw a reef tank (not mine) wiped out by a cold temp this winter. It got down to 60* for a few days. I have only been here for four years and this is the coldest year i remember. Saw my first Arizona snow too. So we can't over look heaters still.

Yeah Scottsdale got hit with snow & it was a lot. At my house we got hail, lots of hail! Our weather keeps getting worse & a lot of people we know have heaters in their tanks & chillers. We've thought about getting one.
