I'm looking at nicrew lights for my 4ftx2ftx2ft. I'm hoping to run a mixed reef with a few beginner SPS that require lower light demands. Should i get 2 of the 150W lights or 2 of the 200W lights? Aiming for around 100 Par in the sand bed and even spread throughout the tank.

I’d get the 200 watt. You can always dim down. You’d save yourself an upgrade if you need more light down the road.

Definitely I would go with the 200W. I actually did a par map on a tank that’s 47 inch by 16inch by 16inch so very close to yours and you can get a general idea with the exact measurements. I have added some zoas in higher par with no issue as well. Here is the link below.

For $70 it’s better to get the larger light and run it at a lower setting for longevity and fan sound too.
