Nikon D300

Another vote for the Tamron. I have it on my D200 and it is fantastic. I have not used the others so I cannot compare but I don't feel that I need to. Plus the Tamron works great as an everyday lens too. I shoot alot of pictures of my kid with it.

As far as bags, the Lowepro line is good stuff. I use a Tamrac and I really like it as well.

I think I amk going to be going the tamron route! I have heard wonderful things about it.

i love it, hand downs no complaints at all.

Myself, im am interested in trying out the Nikkor 105mm but its $750+ so I held off for a long time.

If you want to go the tamron route, i would entertain selling mine, but would need to have my Nikon first.
