do you mean phosephates(PO4) or PH? PO4 is 0 and PH is 8 ppm. and ideally from what I read PO4 should be at 0.

Curious if you could tell me where you read that about phosphates?

Phosphate and nitrate are both major nutrients for ALL LIFE. ;)

P is used in DNA, in photosynthesis, in cellular repair, for growth, for reproduction, etc, etc. :)

my bad. I just tested my PO4. it's at 0.1

Did you figure our what you did wrong?

Can you re-test PO4 and NO3 so we know what both are from the same (current) sample?
