Apologies if this has been covered, but I've been unable to find the answer going through similar threads, noopsyche's videos and their user manual.

Just bought a new k7 mini and I have been unable to connect to AP or LAN. For simplicity , I am focusing on AP, as I would settle for this finctionality. I have factory reset the light, switched the light to AP mode, set up the app under the AP settings and selected the network corresponding to the light (K7mini...) and saved this profile. When I use the app and click on a preset (e.g. LPS), the app tries to connect until it times out (the buttons and bar graph remain grey without data). Any idea on what I'm doing incorrectly?

If you're on Android, I had to select the option to "Stay Connected" and "Don't ask again...". After that, AP mode worked for me. Screenshot below is similar, but the network would be specific to your light.

I have to press the preset button about 30 times before it stops saying connection failed
Yeah, I just quit the app and restart it when that happens. When it connects via AP, it should only take a few seconds.

I never did get LAN mode to work.

Thanks! This worked perfectly for the AP.
