So i just bought one of the Noopsyche lights and I'm wondering how long it would be until i get it or if I have to pay extra because of the tariffs ( I live in the US )

Have no idea about cost and tariffs but I've ordered a few times and it never took longer than two weeks but I've read of others taking longer. Its been over a year since I purchased tho

Where exactly do you guys get these lights from? Is it safe to order from some of the Chinese sites? I've honestly never used them.

There was a member here that became a rep for noopsyche to handle orders in North America. He is no longer doing that but It seems like there were problems with shipping promptly during that time. I know he had some health issue and there appeared to be some communication issues as well tho I don't know who is to blame not that it matters. I've ordered directly from the site listed above 3 times that I remember and it never took longer than 2 weeks after ordering for the lights to arrive.

EDIT: I don't know if there is a distributor in the USA now or not. I've not heard anything since Zach stepped down.

Yea the app is funky but once set your good.

I'm so cool I have gen4 XR15s sitting on the shelf
The app isn't the greatest. I think the worst part is the lights don't like to connect to my Wi-Fi. But at least the lights have an AP mode so I can bypass WiFi and connect directly to the lights to change setting. Sure it's a hassle having to go into my phone settings and disconnect from my Wi-Fi and connect to the light but it's not like I'm changing the setting on my lights often so I can live with that. Mobius is Bluetooth only.

I don't think that would bother me, I don't change settings too often, except maybe when getting new corals. Sounds like a great light.

That's something i can live with because once i set them I'll probably leave them be plus there's that one website that someone made so you can make a schedule and make a QR code to scan in the app

I'm not sure, I've only used the K7 lights.
