Purple torch also look black under blues. I can barely see it from afar though. Since it’s a themed tank, why not go with black sand?

Multibar angel and burgess butterfly get my vote for black and white fish. But also bandit angelfish, eight band butterfly, tinker butterfly. Griffithis is a bit more purple grey than just black and white. Caribbean reef butterfly is predominantly black and white. Prognathodes basabei, and P. Gemini have bold black and white stripes.
