Look what I found!
Nudi.jpg

I never would have seen it, if it didn't look bright orange in my actinics. I hate to kill any living being but...

Now that I know what they look like, I was poking around in my other tank & found another one. I picked it up w/tweezers & it broke in half & 1/2 of it blew away in the current. Do they regenerate? Will that 1/2 live?

What's the best way to get them out?

Pull and dip everything on weekly regimes for about 4-6 weeks... Once you've got them, they're there. After the dip, you have to pick off the egg clusters, too. Major PITA. I'd start looking for a QT type set up.

very true, for every one you find, there's probably 10-15 that you haven't seen yet, dipping's the best way to go for sure

I have 100s of lbs of LR w/zoas all over them. Will have to wait till my big upgrade in a month. then wverything will get dipped in Reef Dip (or is Lugol's better?). In the meantime I will hunt with my flashlight every night to get out what I can.

Not funny! :(

I think what I'll do then, is wait till after vacation (leaving Friday for a dive trip in the Caymans), when the new tank is set up (w/screening in the back, to prevent jumping wrasses), I will dip everything before moving into the new tank & add a seagrass wrassse a week later, to eat what ever hatches in there.

Little QT tank? I have about 200lbs of rock w/zoas on it. Some are just glued on. I can imagine how many are going to get lost in this whole process...
