So this is my second tank but is my only tank at the moment.
I use to have a 20 long tank and was good but it was a thrown together tank and was just never right. So not long ago i decided i needed to get a cleaner set up and have fun with it! I spoke with my LFS friend and he recommended i do a 10 gallon nuvo. I looked around the interwebs and thought looks good lets try it!!
I also have never done a tank build post but I decided i wanted to show people my tank a little!! so here it goes!!
Tank is the Nuvo Fusion 10
Live Rock is about 5 pounds
10 Pounds of sand
I used Nutri Sea salt water easier for me to start out with
I went with the upgraded filter tower and put a particulate filter int he top and chemipure carbon in the next one down.
I also upgraded the pump to the Cobalt MJ900
I upgraded the pump discharge tot the spin nozzle.
I do have a heater just cant remember which one!!
I really like the profile of the light on this tank and i have heard it will be ok for some easy keeper corals and my two clowns that i plan to put in the tank over the course of the next 2 months.
But feel free to tell me other wise.
What do you all think!! I love it! Gonna be a fun project!!
One day I want the big tank but since i am living in a Fire Department Live in program can put a really large tank in a bedroom haha
Another thing is me and the LFS were chatting what would be the best course of action to go with in the terms of Ghost skimmer or dont know if anyone has ever tried in a 10 gallon doing a mini refugium in the skimmer slot??? Maybe Maybe
