Nyos 120 skimmer or skimmer in general

It seems that after every time I turn off water pump, I have to readjust the Nyos 120 skimmer to work properly. It seems it has something to do with turning the skimmer off and then on.

is this normal with any skimmer that you have to play around with the setting again? Or is it normal to see it like that and I just have to give it time before it works properly again?

The skimmer concentrates stuff inside it. When you turn it off and restart it, it goes back to normal tank water inside it and has to start concentrating it again.

how long are you letting it run before you adjust it? Also, is this after a water change, or if the water level where it sits changing during this process?

After WC and also after feeding mode which I turn off the pump completely

I'm assuming you are seeing normal behavior and just being reactive. Give it some time unless it's overflowing.

Yes and I am worried that it is not skimming properly. It has been running for at least 3 months now.
