Nyos 220 skimmer

My silencer on my Nyos 220 is cracking after months of installing an outside air feed tube so it can pull outside air to keep a higher ph...I’ve contacted ecotech they have sent me a replacement but will it keep happening? has anyone had this same problem

If there’s a drastic temperature difference then yes it will probably keep happening.
