Nyos Pure Salt Supply Chain issue?

Anybody know whats up with Nyos Pure salt 20kg boxes? I can only find the buckets in the US. I have a half dozen buckets already and can save a few bucks buying the boxes but I can never find them in stock. I wish they would make the bucket the same price as the box if they aren't going to keep them in stock in the US. I go through a bucket every six weeks so the savings adds up over a year.

If you were selling this salt, would you stock more buckets or more boxes?

I would be interested in knowing the shipping costs (difference?) between these two containers, and the damaged freight charges that arise from the two modes?

The +$5 charge for buckets would seem to be more profitable for the sellers, and I would bet buckets don't have as many damage issues in shipments?

I actually think the buckets are worse for retail sellers because with that much weight in a bucket you hit one edge of that bucket and it cracks instantly. Most people who buy buckets if they get a cracked bucket they want a replacement. I’ve gotten the 20kg boxes that have showed up duct taped up,blown out, you name it. The other thing with the buckets they come in a very heavy duty cardboard box which along with the bucket I’m sure that box cost more but anything you buy in a bucket is gonna cost a few bucks more. It’s no different than buying drywall compound. As long as the bag is intact. I don’t care
