OC Clownfish wierd behaviour

I have a pair of 1 year old oc clowns. I housed then in a 42g, now shifted to 130g. In 42g they would stay in a corner top, and even after shifting to 130g, they still prefer staying in a corner at the top, next to my overflow box.

However another issue is that the smaller clown now no longer want to stay with the bigger clown. Everytime the bigger clown goes to it, it will swim to the other side of the overflow box. I have never noticed this behaviour. What can be the reason? They no longer sleep together. Seems very wierd as they never got separated when they were in a 42g.

Maybe he just got a man cave in the new tank? Seriously, I have a friend that had the same thing happen. They kissed and made up when he added an anemone.

Lol.. k as they have divorced, the big clown goes and sleeps under a rock, but by morning she tries to get back but the tiny fellow jus swims away from her.. hahaha

I'd just give them some time to adjust to the new environment. I'm sure it won't be long until he wants to spend some quality time with her.

It's not abnormal when added to a new environment. Give it a little time and things will go back to normal.

New here and excited to geek out over reefing with everyone!!

Now that that's outta the way,

After reading the original post I couldn't help but think of the Jeffersons' theme song as you moved them over to the 130g

I agree that I think they will settle back into their old ways after they feel established. If I move a rock or two around in my tank it disrupts the pecking order and has to be re-learned.
