Has anyone used just 1 ocean revive on a 65g tank? 36"x18"x25"?? I'm looking into purchasing one but if I kept it 12-18" off the water would I get decent spread and would I be able to keep sps corals if I put them forwards the middle directly under? Thoughts/suggestions??

I think they have a 24" x 24" footprint. If you put it high enough you I got get away with one but the corners will be dim.

Yes I have one over my 40b tank and it's does great with coverage (the corners will be a little darker but not enough that corals can't live. ) my one fixture is just fine for me. And I have it like 12in off the water line.
