Hey guys,
I had placed my clown pair into their breeding tank a few weeks ago and was wondering at what size are the sexually mature and what do you normally condition them with?
They are both doing great and indeed the male seems busy swimming back to the Terra cotta pot and out again, but I haven't seen any very definitive breeding signs.
Now perhaps like most species, maybe patience is more so what I'm needing.

this will likely vary but mine on average were about an inch and 1/4 and 11 months old

Yeah, mostly will take time. The fastest way to speed things up is to feed them very heavy multiple times a day. Lot's of high quality frozen food. A heavy feeding of brine shrimp a couple of times a week is helpful too. If they are not yet starting to clean (chew on) the flower pot, then you still have a ways to go time wise.
