That was my first thought! Need to rebuild the bio-film. However, I have an in-tank Sicce Shark 300 and every time I take it off line (even if just for a minute to empty the skimmer cup) I get an up tick in micro bubbles for at least a few hours. Overnight is usually enough to restore order, but that's with the unit submerged the whole time and not cleaning the inside of it, except the cup. Having an HOB, you probably can't adjust water level, but make sure that is correct if it can vary. You may need to play with the air intake if it persists.6 months old, i haven’t used it in a month because of parasites and med treatments. i’m aware that can affect it but i think dang near all that is out besides me dosing here and there w copper. so i’m thinking it just has to break in again?
