Finally figured out what is causing polyp bailout on my octospawn. Any ID for this critter? Recommendations on to remove it or leave it alone?

No doubt a barnacle. While I welcome barnacles, the location of this one may upset and steal food from the Octo making me want to rid of it.
Placing a dab of Gel superglue over the opening will accomplish that

I wouldn’t bother trying to kill it, your coral is already stressed, messing around with it may cause more bad than good, I’d be looking at parameters and keeping them stable.
